President Obama thanks J.R. Smith for wearing a shirt to the White House

On Thursday, the world champion Cleveland Cavaliers visited Barack Obama at the White House to celebrate their title with the President of the United States -- as has been tradition for the NBA's title winners.

After winning the championship last June, you may remember Cavs guard J.R. Smith going on a shirtless celebration tour -- where it seemed everywhere he went, he was half-naked.

When President Obama called coach Tyronn Lue to congratulate him on his team's historic achievement, he politely poked fun at J.R.'s antics and requested he wear a shirt to the White House if the Cavaliers ever visited.

Well, the President didn't forget -- and thanked Smith for formalizing his attire before entering the most prestigious government building in the United States:
