Prediction: Sacramento Kings' Box Score Game 50 vs Phoenix Suns

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 9:20 p.m. ET

The Sacramento Kings return home to take on the Phoenix Suns on February 3, 2017.  This article predicts the Sacramento Kings’ box score for that game.

The Sacramento Kings finally return home after an eight-game road trip to do battle against the Phoenix Suns.  This is the second meeting with the Suns this season.  The Kings defeated the Suns 113-94 in their regular season opener.

Last time out, the Kings traveled to Houston and were thoroughly beaten by the Rockets 105-83 on Tuesday.  Below is a highlight video in case you missed the action (and if you are a Kings fans I would probably just skip it and move on to tonight’s prediction).

Without further ado, below is my Sacramento Kings’ box score prediction for tonight’s game against Phoenix Suns.

Box Score Prediction

The Phoenix Suns are a team that is going to play fast and is relatively inefficient on both ends of the floor.  They rank 4th in the NBA in pace and 3rd in field goal attempts per game meaning they are playing fast and creating chances.  If you view offensive rating, the Suns rank 19th and they are 27th in defensive rating so far this season.  It is a team that is going to play fast, but inefficiently.

The loss of Garrett Temple to a hamstring injury will cause yet another rotation shuffle for the Kings.  Matt Barnes is the expected replacement starter with the reserve wings being Malachi Richardson and Ben McLemore in that order.

I am most excited to see what Richardson can go given an extended run.  He is a fun player to watch with a lot of swagger, so tune in tonight and see if he can make an impression on tonight’s contest.

Summary

There you have it, my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for the game against the Phoenix Suns on February 3, 2017.  The Suns are a young squad that plays with a lot of energy, so it should be a fun game to watch tonight.

I expect the Kings to hold home court and walk away victorious against an inexperienced and struggling Suns squad.  Tune in and cheer on the Kings to that victory.
