During LaMarcus Aldridge's highly anticipated return to the Moda Center on Wednesday night, Portland's former franchise player watched his replacement go down with an injury.
Meyers Leonard left the contest after dislocating his shoulder, and didn't return. Here's what he told The Oregonian after the game:

Leonard is shooting just 25.8 percent from downtown, after nailing 42 percent of his threes last season. It's discouraging, but at least this injury happened to his non-shooting shoulder.
I've done this a couple times, but it's normally what they call a sublex. So it slips in and out. But this time it was a complete dislocation. So we'll see. Like I said, I'm hoping for a quick recovery. I want to get back to the court and play. So I'll listen to the medical staff and go from there.
