Thunder remove announcer from duties

Oklahoma City Thunder public address announcer Jim Miller has

been removed from his duties by the team after a warrant was issued

for his arrest on charges of lewd and indecent acts with a child

under 16.

“Due to the allegations and criminal case against him and until

further notice, Mr. Miller has been removed from his duties as

Thunder PA announcer,” the team said in a statement, obtained by

KOKH-TV.

According to the warrant, also obtained by the station, Miller

allegedly committed three lewd or indecent acts against two young

girls and a young boy.

Along with his part-time gig announcing at Thunder games, Miller

is employed as a high school teacher.
