Now we got bad blood: Clippers cover up Taylor Swift’s Staples Center banner

The Los Angeles Lakers aren’t the only ones getting the banned-banner treatment. You can add pop star Taylor Swift to the list.

The Los Angeles Clippers started covering the Lakers’ championship banners during home games when Doc Rivers arrived two years ago, to the dismay of many Lakers fans.

Now, the team has decided to cover up Swift’s banner, which signifies her record 16-straight sold out shows at the venue. Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant presented the banner to Swift in August, so perhaps that is why there’s some bad blood between the Clippers and T-Swift (pun intended).

Either way, the Clippers have made it clear — as long as you’re not the Los Angeles Kings or Sparks, they’re going to cover up your banners.
