Watch Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook avoid each other at All-Star practice

NEW ORLEANS -- Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook took the floor together at the Western Conference All-Star practice on Saturday, but they avoided each other at every turn, and remained as far apart as possible during the morning's event.

The two players spent the warm-up period getting shots up on opposite corners of the floor, and didn't participate in any of the light workout drills together. Steve Kerr even separated the team into groups of guards and bigs at one point, further ensuring that no awkward interactions would have a chance to take place.

That extended into the media availability session afterward, even as the players were just a couple of steps apart.

It'll be interesting to see if basketball might be able to heal this rift, if they end up in the lineup together at the All-Star game on Sunday night.
