Watch Patrick Beverley dominate as a high school player

You might think that Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley is a one-trick pony only capable of playing great man-to-man defense. That isn't exactly true.

As is the case with most NBA players, Beverley was once a dynamic scorer who used to light his opponents up for big games. 

Although the Rockets rely on him for his 3-and-D capabilities, take a look at this throwback video of Beverley tearing it up for Marshall high school in Chicago.

But before you watch, here's a fun little fact: Marshall was one of the high schools featured in the famous basketball documentary “Hoop Dreams”. So there you go.
