Hornets general manager ‘would love to move up’ in the draft

Though the Charlotte Hornets currently have the ninth pick in the NBA draft, that could change on draft night — if not sooner. According to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer, Hornets general manager Rich Cho has been talking to teams about moving up, down, or out of the draft altogether.

The Hornets have a lot of needs in the draft, but perhaps most pressing is the need for a shooter. If one isn't available with their current pick, or there is one but taking him at nine would be too much of a reach, don't be surprised to see the Hornets move down and gain an extra asset in the process.
