Gordon out for Pistons, Flynn for Wolves

Ben Gordon missed the Detroit Pistons’ season finale against the

Minnesota Timberwolves because of personal reasons.

Gordon attended the team’s morning shootaround, but coach John

Kuester says he was not available after an issue came up Wednesday

afternoon. Gordon averaged 26.5 points over the previous four

games, including 39 at Miami on April 9.

The Pistons also scratched Rodney Stuckey, Richard Hamilton and

Chris Wilcox because of injury.

For the Timberwolves, rookie point guard Jonny Flynn was out

with a hip injury. Flynn had played in all 81 games this season,

but strained his left hip flexor in the game at San Antonio on

Monday.
