Golden State Warriors own up to 'Super Villain' status with balloon display

Published Nov. 15, 2016 2:44 p.m. ET

Listen: We've tried to describe every way the Golden State Warriors are the NBA's newest brand of villains. But who would have known it would come to this?

On Friday, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green posted a picture of what appears to be a team party.

No harm there: Just the likes of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant hanging out for some sort of gathering. That is, until the drone with the camera zooms out and reveals what the players are huddled in front of: A metallic balloon display of letters that spell out the words "Super Villains."

In case that wasn't clear enough, Andre Iguodala introduced a new "Super Villains" Snapchat filter with his Friday story:

I guess it's official now: The Warriors are Super Villains. It's been spelled out, so we have no choice but to treat them as such.

P.S. Best parts of the the Instagram, in descending order:

3) Klay Thompson buried in his phone

2) JaVale McGee is in charge of controlling the drone

1) Zaza's sweater.

I repeat: ZAZA'S SWEATER.
