Doc Rivers calls out Clippers after 45-point preseason loss to Warriors

The Warriors had their first home game of the preseason on Tuesday, but they were the only team that bothered to show up. Oh, the Clippers were there, too -- at least physically. But mentally, they weren't at all prepared for the devastation that Golden State's new lineup might bring.

The Warriors were up by 18 just eight minutes into the game, and scored 71 points in the first two quarters to take a 38-point lead into the halftime break. The final score was an ugly 120-75 loss for the Clippers, and though it was one that won't count in the standings, Doc Rivers called his team out for not bringing an ounce of intensity to the exhibition contest.

Just to be clear, this wasn't some kind of shot at the Warriors for pouring it on in a meaningless game. Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant logged less than 24 minutes each, so it's not like the starters were playing anywhere close to their normal allotment of minutes. And, it was clear that this one was over before the first quarter was finished.
