NEW YORK — The Brooklyn Nets were without starters Deron Williams and Shaun Livingston for their game against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.

Rookie Jorge Gutierrez and Andrei Kirilenko started with Paul Pierce, Joe Johnson and Kevin Garnett. Kidd originally said Alan Anderson would start, but the Nets later announced he was out with a sore abdominal muscle and would be replaced by Kirilenko.
