How watchable will the Nuggets be this season?

Will the Nuggets provide a great viewing experience this season?

The Denver Nuggets may not be fully rebuilding, but this is definitely a young roster with a lot of question marks in a stacked Western Conference.

While making the playoffs may not be all that realistic, the Nuggets have some exciting pieces on the roster.

Danilo Gallinari looks fully healthy and ready to roll. Kenneth Faried always brings tons of energy. First round draft pick Emmanuel Mudiay is getting the keys to the offense right off the bat. Jusuf Nurkic looks like a potential franchise center.

But is all that enough to make the Nuggets one of the most watchable teams on a nightly basis? Zach Lowe at Grantland weighed in:

There are things for basketball nerds here: a rejuvenated, brash Danilo Gallinari; the development of Emmanuel Mudiay under Mike Malone; high-post dishing from Nikola Jokic and Joffrey Lauvergne (those are real players, I swear); and Jusuf Nurkic bulldozing guys — and then cursing at them afterward in Serbo-Croatian..

But the Nuggets lack a magnetic star, and their closest approximation — Gallo — may not get to gallop around as a small-ball power forward as much with Malone juggling six rotation bigs. Forcing viewers to watch J.J. Hickson steal rebounds and play zero defense is a minor crime against basketball.
