Tyronn Lue: Cavs making ‘extreme effort’ to visit White House before Obama leaves office

The Cleveland Cavaliers are well aware that Barack Obama’s second term is quickly coming to an end, and the defending NBA champs apparently want to visit the president before he leaves office.

Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue told Bleacher Report SXM on Sunday that the team is making "an extreme effort" to visit the White House before Obama leaves.

Obama’s last day in office will be Jan. 20, 2017, giving the Cavs a little more than six months to schedule this meeting. One player who has met the President under these circumstances before is LeBron James, who has won two titles with the Heat before leading the Cavs to this year’s crown.
