Atlanta dropped their Monday night contest to the Utah Jazz 120-95. Gordon Hayward scored 30 points for Utah in the victory. The Jazz shot over 60 percent from the field as a team and got double figure points from four of their starters. Atlanta got off to a slow start, getting outscored by eight points in the first quarter. They clawed back to trim the half-time deficit to four points, but a dismal third quarter sunk their chances of coming back.
