Andre Miller keeps playoff hopes alive, reportedly signing with Spurs
Andre Miller had said he hoped to join a playoff contender, and it looks like he may have gotten his wish.
The 39-year-old guard cleared waivers on Saturday and is set to sign with the Spurs, the Vertical reports.
According to the Vertical league sources, the Spurs need to clear a roster spot before the deal happens, but Miller would otherwise be eligible for postseason play.
The Professor has traveled extensively throughout his 17-year tenure, playing for eight NBA teams before landing in Minnesota during the offseason.
Miller has averaged 3.4 points, 2.2 assists and 10.8 minutes per game this year. He has career averages of 12.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 6.6 assists in 1,291 games.
