Impact Hauser turned in a new season high in scoring with the help of five triples, also a season best. The Virginia product had been inconsistent at best through his first eight games of the season entering Saturday, averaging 5.1 points and 1.8 rebounds in 12.1 minutes. However, he could certainly carve out a more prominent role in the rotation with more performances like this.

Re-joins Boston on three-year pact Hauser officially signed a three-year contract with the Celtics on Saturday, Brian Robb of MassLive.com reports.

Impact Hauser went unselected in the 2021 NBA Draft but signed a two-way contract with the Celtics in August of 2021 that was eventually converted to a standard deal in February of 2022. Hauser saw most of his playing time in the G League, where he averaged 16.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists while notably hitting 3.9 threes per game at 43.3 percent. Boston is presumably hoping the 24-year-old can step into some more NBA minutes in the coming seasons as a floor spacer.

Impact Hauser was unavailable for 12 straight games leading up to the NBA Finals, but it appears the shoulder issue he was dealing with won't keep him off the court if his number is called against the Warriors. It's unlikely he'll see the floor unless several members of Boston's rotation get hurt, but it sounds like he'll be available if needed.
