News: Cauley-Stein amassed 10 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 FT), 18 rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 32 minutes during Thursday's 116-100 victory over Dallas.
Impact: Cauley-Stein hauled in a season-high 18 rebounds Thursday, capitalizing on an increased role. Harry Giles (thigh) left the game early and was not able to return which meant Cauley-Stein saw his highest amount of playing time in almost a month. If Giles misses any time, Cauley-Stein will likely find himself in a larger role, putting him back on the list as a potential must-roster player.
News: Cauley-Stein totaled 13 points (6-7 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and two assists over 33 minutes in the Kings' loss to the 76ers on Friday.
Impact: Cauley-Stein was at it again on Friday, providing his usual allotment of points, rebounds and assists. Although he's been rather unspectacular with limited upside, Cauley-Stein is a consistent fantasy option with a high floor. His night-to-night performances rarely deviate far from his season averages.
News: Cauley-Stein totaled 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and a block over 26 minutes in the Kings' loss to the Wizards on Monday.
Impact: Cauley-Stein had a typical performance, reminiscent of his season averages in points (12.4), rebounds (8.4) and assists (2.5). While the rebounds and assists are both career highs, Cauley-Stein hasn't developed into the high-caliber center he was drafted to be in 2015.
News: Cauley-Stein had just four points and one rebound in 13 minutes during Monday's 112-105 loss to the Timberwolves.
Impact: Cauley-Stein received two fouls in the first three minutes and was never able to get things going, putting up just four points in 13 minutes. There is nothing to worry about here as the low minutes are clearly an outlier in what has been a solid season. Cauley-Stein will look to bounce back against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Impact: Cauley-Stein ended Saturday's win with 10 points and 11 rebounds, his first double-double since January 13. His hot start to the season is a distant memory for owners as he has scored in double-digits in just three of his past seven games. The rapid improvement of both Marvin Bagley and Harry Giles has cut into Cauley-Stein's production and he is more of a fringe standard league player right now.
News: Cauley-Stein produced 19 points (8-9 FG, 3-5 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and two steals over 33 minutes in Saturday's 115-108 win over the Sixers.
Impact: The 24-year old center is rounding into form in his fourth season with the Kings, as he's outplaying his previous yearly averages with 13.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. The improved play of Buddy Hield and De'Aaron Fox has yielded more looks inside for Cauley-Stein, and he's shown vast improvement in the post versus the NBA's best big men.
News: Cauley-Stein collected 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, five steals, two assists, and one block in 31 minutes during Friday's 99-96 win over the Grizzlies.
Impact: Cauley-Stein finished with a season high steal total while earning at least 30 minutes for the first time since Jan. 12. After averaging 28.9 minutes per game in December and seeing 30-plus minutes in five of the first seven games of January, Cauley-Stein hasn't been quite as involved lately. As a result, his numbers have dipped a bit during this recent stretch, as he hasn't hoisted double-digit field-goal attempts once over the last five games and has grabbed just six rebounds in each of the last four contests.
News: Cauley-Stein finished Monday's game against Brooklyn with 12 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 FT), six rebounds and two assists over 27 minutes.
Impact: Cauley-Stein only attempted eight shots from the floor, but he knocked down six of those attempts in a lopsided loss on the road. The 25-year-old has been uncharacteristically held to just six rebounds in each of his previous two games, which is well below his season average of 8.9 boards per contest. Cauley-Stein will aim to return to form on the boards Tuesday against Toronto, especially seeing as rebounding is a key strength for the former first-round pick.
News: Cauley-Stein totaled eight points (4-6 FG), 11 rebounds, four assists, a block and three steals across 27 minutes Thursday against Charlotte.
Impact: Cauley-Stein finished well below his 13.6 ppg average, but he secured 11 rebounds and dished out four helpers in a 114-95 loss at home. Thursday marked the first time he's been held under double-digits in the scoring column since Jan. 1. Even though he didn't light up the scoreboard, he still managed to salvage his night by contributing across the board.
News: Cauley-Stein tallied 12 points (6-11 FG), 12 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block in 32 minutes during Saturday's 104-97 victory over Charlotte.
Impact: Cauley-Stein had another impactful game Saturday, putting up a double-double for the fourth time in his last five games. His scoring has fallen slightly after a hot start to the season but the boards continue to hold up his value, along with decent assist numbers. As soon as he finds a way to consistently produce defensive stats, his overall value will certainly continue to trend in the right direction.
News: Cauley-Stein compiled 14 points (5-10 FG, 4-6 FT), 14 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks in 25 minutes during Thursday's 112-102 victory over the Pistons.
Impact: Cauley-Stein fared well against Andre Drummond, finishing with his fourth double-double from his last five games. He played just 25 minutes in the win as the game transitioned into garbage time late. Cauley-Stein has had a productive campaign thus far, however, an increase in blocks would certainly be a welcome sight for his owners.
News: Cauley-Stein supplied 15 points (6-11 FG, 3-8 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, three steals, and three blocks in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 115-111 loss to the Suns.
Impact: Cauley-Stein clanked two key free throws in crunch time, but he nevertheless delivered a quality stat line for fantasy purposes. Cauley-Stein matched his season high in blocks, reached double figures in scoring for the fourth straight showing, and dished at least three dimes for the 21st time across 41 appearances here in 2018-19. Furthermore, he's managing career-high averages in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, and minutes.
News: Cauley-Stein produced 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists and two steals across 32 minutes in Saturday's 127-123 loss to the Warriors.
Impact: Cauley-Stein took advantage of the Warriors' struggles under the basket once again. He's recorded four double-doubles in his past 10 games and has shown good deal of improvement so far this season, especially on the defensive end.
News: Cauley-Stein compiled 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds, three blocks, and two assists in 33 minutes during Sunday's 121-114 loss to the Lakers.
Impact: Cauley-Stein notched his first double-double in over a week in what was a somewhat quiet performance. This effort demonstrates how far he has come this season with a line such as this once being a big night for the big man. He is one of the more surprising centers in the league and should continue to put up solid numbers on a nightly basis barring any injuries.
News: Cauley-Stein registered 19 points (9-15 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and a block over 34 minutes Thursday against the Lakers.
Impact: Cauley-Stein has been stellar from a fantasy perspective of late, providing owners with solid showings in the scoring column and on the boards. He's averaging 15.4 points along with 10.0 rebounds per contest over his last five contests. The 25-year-old Kentucky product figures to see a similar workload going forward, and even though he's unlikely to consistently put up 20 points a night, he'll add constant value in the rebounding department.
