Anunoby (eye) practiced Friday and is expected to play Saturday against the Mavericks, Eric Smith of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.

    Impact

Anunoby sat out Wednesday's game after being poked in the eye Monday, but it appears his absence will be limited to one game. Coach Nick Nurse indicated the 22-year-old won't need to wear any additional eye protection. Anunoby is averaging 11.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 blocks in 30.0 minutes through 10 games this season.

    News

Anunoby has a right eye contusion and won't play Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

    Impact

Anunoby was poked in the eye Monday and will miss at least one game as a result. The 22-year-old visited with an eye doctor Tuesday, but it's unclear how long he's expected to remain sidelined. Anunoby's next chance to play will be Saturday at Dallas.

    News

Anunoby (eye) will meet with a doctor in Los Angeles on Tuesday before joining the team on its flight to Portland, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.

    Impact

Anunoby was poked in the eye by Kawhi Leonard during Monday's matchup with the Clippers, which forced him out of the contest early in the first quarter. The forward should be considered day-to-day until the dispatch from Tuesday's doctor visit is available. The Raptors are off Tuesday before taking on the Blazers on Wednesday night. If Anunoby is held out, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who saw 29 minutes Monday, would likely be in line for an increased role again.

    News

Anunoby has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game against Los Angeles after being poked in the eye.

    Impact

The Raptors will be shorthanded for nearly the entire contest after Anunoby exited in the first quarter. Norman Powell, Stanley Johnson and Malcolm Miller could all see opportunities to make an impact as a result.

    News

Anunoby recorded 21 points (7-13 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal in Friday's 122-104 victory at New Orleans.

    Impact

Though teammate Pascal Siakam starred, the third-year veteran played a valuable supporting role as the Raptors' secondary scoring option, especially from behind the arc. Anunoby has adjusted well since becoming a regular in the starting lineup, averaging a career-best 13.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
