Bagley (Achilles) will not play for the Kings' entry in the Las Vegas Summer League, Sean Cunningham of ABC 10 in Sacramento reports.
Bagley was listed on the Kings' roster for the California Classic, which runs from Monday to Wednesday, but he's nursing a sore Achilles so the team won't take any chances. Regardless of his condition, however, the second-year big man was never going to play at the Las Vegas Summer League, and he won't be included on the roster.
Bagley will not play in Monday's summer league game against the Warriors, Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee reports.
Bagley is dealing with a sore right Achilles, so the Kings will play it safe and hold him out of Game 1 of the California Classic. Bagley is considered day-to-day and could play as soon as Tuesday against Miami.
Bagley is on the Kings' summer league roster, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Though Bagley had a productive rookie campaign, he'll look to hone his skills even more during summer league. Playing 62 games last year, he averaged 14.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.0 block and 1.0 assist across 25.3 minutes.
