Bagley scored 30 points (12-17 FG, 0-2 3PT, 6-10 FT) to go along with 14 rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block in 28 minutes during Sacramento's 124-110 exhibition win over Melbourne United on Wednesday.
The talented big man once again showed he is one of the most promising young players in The Association as he led Sacramento's scoring in the team's pre-season finale. While his numbers looked inflated compared to what he projects to do in the regular season, Bagley should be one of the Kings' main scoring assets and seems set to take a big leap forward following an already successful rookie season where he averaged nearly 15 points and eight rebounds per game.
Bagley provided 22 points (8-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two blocks and one steal across 30 minutes during the Kings' 128-115 preseason win over the Jazz on Monday.
Bagley was in midseason form during the Kings' second win of the exhibition slate. The second-year big enjoyed a strong rookie season (14.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.0 assist across 62 games) and could be in for a big Year 2 leap while working with a new frontcourt mate in Dewayne Dedmon down low.
Bagley amassed 15 points (5-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT) and six rebounds in Saturday's preseason loss to Indiana.
Bagley provided his usual scoring and rebounding number, though he was unable to contribute elsewhere. The second-year forward will need to showcase an improvement in both his defensive production and assist numbers if he's to ascend to a higher tier of fantasy value. That said, Bagley has a great floor as he's proven his ability to score and rebound consistently and should see a larger role after averaging just 25.3 minutes per game as a rookie.
