Gasol tallied nine points (3-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists and four blocks in 35 minutes Wednesday in the Raptors' 114-106 win over the Trail Blazers.
The absence of Serge Ibaka (ankle) for the past three games has opened up 30-plus minutes in each of those contests for Gasol, but he hasn't benefited from any notable spike on the offensive end as a result. While Gasol came through with a season-high block total Wednesday, he again finished with under 10 points for the fourth straight contest. Gasol should continue to get ample minutes while Ibaka is out, but the veteran's diminishing fantasy utility will likely plunge further when Toronto is back to full strength.
Gasol posted five points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in Friday's 122-104 win against the Pelicans.
In his first full season with the Raptors, Gasol has not been off to the start he would have wanted to, with career lows in both points (6.9 per game) and field-goal percentage (34 percent). A playing-time boost for the 34-year-old isn't likely considering he's seen the fewest amount of minutes out of all the nominal starters and hasn't shot at a high mark.
Gasol finished with 10 points (4-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 0-0 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and one block in 34 minutes of a 115-105 loss to Milwaukee on Saturday.
Gasol notched his second double-double of the season in his team's loss to Milwaukee, matching his season-high in points while setting a new season high in rebounds and minutes played. Gasol was much more active in the offense with Pascal Siakam limited in a tough match-up with Giannis Antetokounmpo. Toronto next takes the court against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
Gasol (knee) had six points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, and two assists in 15 minutes during Wednesday's 125-113 win over the Pistons.
Gasol (knee) returned to action after exiting the contest in the first quarter. However, Serge Ibaka had the hot hand and ended up earning over twice as many minutes (32) as Gasol. The 34-year-old big man has been underwhelming through five games, reaching double figures in scoring just once while grabbing double-digit boards twice. His numbers are down across the board, and that's unlikely to change given that he's splitting time with Ibaka.
Gasol is available to return after falling on his knee during the first quarter of Wednesday's game against the Pistons, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
Gasol left the game briefly in the first quarter to get his knee worked on. The injury doesn't appear to be overly serious as he's already been given the green light to return to the court.
