Brogdon (illness) posted on Twitter that he's "feeling well" and "ready for Orlando."
Brogdon tested positive for COVID-19 in late June. He's expected to be ready for the Pacers' first game in the bubble, which is Aug. 1 against the 76ers. From February until the league went on pause, Brogdon averaged 14.7 points on 13.4 shots, 6.6 assists and 5.4 rebounds in 31.6 minutes. His presence will be even more important for the Pacers with Victor Oladipo opting out of the restart.
Brogdon tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, J. Michael of the Indy Star reports.
This isn't a major cause for concern, as the NBA has openly stated that it's expecting several players to test positive, but Brogdon will now likely have to quarantine and recover before rejoining the team in the leadup to Orlando. "I'm doing well, feeling well and progressing well, Brogdon said. "I plan to join my teammates in Orlando for the resumption of the NBA season and playoffs."
