Out at least another week Coach Mark Daigneault said Friday that Giddey (hip) will be re-evaluated at the end of next week, Nick Crain of SI.com reports.
Impact Giddey has been sidelined since Feb. 25 due to his hip injury, and he'll be forced to miss at least another week. The rookie showed promise to begin the year by averaging 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists in 31.5 minutes per game across 54 appearances, but he might not return to the court in time to provide much value for the tail end of the fantasy playoffs.

Impact Given that many fantasy seasons in late March, this could effectively spell the end of Giddey's debut fantasy campaign. He's been out since Feb. 25, and the Thunder have no reason to rush the rookie back. In his continued absence, more minutes should remain available for Tre Mann, Aaron Wiggins (ankle) and other backcourt options. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has also been on a tear in Giddey's absence.

In his absence, Aaron Wiggins and Tre Mann should once again see increased run.
