Brunson managed 11 points (5-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 10 assists, and three rebounds in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 105-94 loss to the Spurs.

    Impact

Brunson contributed his third double-double in the season finale, and amassed two in the last three games of 2018-19. Overall the rookie was pretty impressive this year, and there's a good chance he'll begin next season as the primary backup point guard, a role that can be fairly appealing for fantasy purposes given coach Rick Carlisle's penchant for regularly running multi-guard lineups.

    News

Brunson will start Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Bobby Karalla of the Mavericks' official site reports.

    Impact

Brunson will start in place of Luka Doncic, who's suffering from a thigh injury. In 37 starts this year, Brunson's contributing 13.0 points, 4.1 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 28.9 minutes per game.

    News

Brunson collected 12 points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 assists, two rebounds, and one steal in 24 minutes during Sunday's 129-127 overtime win against the Grizzlies.

    Impact

Brunson returned to the lineup following a one-game absence for rest purposes and delivered his second career double-double while amassing a career high assist total. Luka Doncic (thigh) missed his second straight matchup, and if the frontrunner for Rookie of the Year also misses Tuesday's tilt versus the Suns, Brunson would likely be in line for an uptick in usage once again.

    News

Brunson (rest) is off the injury report for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies.

    Impact

Brunson got Friday's loss to Memphis off for rest, but there's a strong chance he'll be back in the starting lineup Sunday. He's scored in just single-digits just twice since March.

    News

Brunson (rest) is out Friday against the Grizzlies.

    Impact

With Luka Doncic (thigh) out as well, the Mavericks will be thin in the backcourt. Trey Burke should see heavy minutes as a result.
