Bonga contributed 17 points (6-9 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes during Friday's 140-111 loss to the Raptors.
Bonga finished with career highs in scoring and rebounding while matching his career high in threes. He has reached double figures in scoring in three of the last seven games after failing to do so once through his first 29 appearances this season.

Bonga temporarily moved to the bench Wednesday against the Bulls, but he'll rejoin the first unit Friday, taking the place of Gary Payton. Bong is averaging 5.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and two assists over his last four starts.

Bonga made a rare start and responded with his second consecutive game in double figures while posting a career high in rebounds in the game. It's unclear if his starting role will continue, but with injuries taking their tole on Washington, he should see the court against the Magic on Wednesday.
