Lopez contributed 19 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal across 37 minutes in Wednesday's 107-102 loss to the Cavaliers.
Lopez was efficient shooting the ball Wednesday night, but the individual effort was not enough to get it done, as the Bucks played just eight men in the loss to the Cavs. Lopez has been solid shooting from all over the floor this year, as he's progressed his outside shooting to move towards a stretch center.
Lopez compiled 28 points (8-14 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 7-10 FT), nine rebounds, four blocks, three assists, and three steals in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 115-101 win over the Lakers.
Lopez was superb offensively while matching season highs in scoring and steals. The soon-to-be 31-year-old center stepped up in the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) and poured salt in the wounds of a Lakers team that was content to let Lopez leave in free agency last summer -- and desperately could've used his floor spacing and rim protection this season. He continues to make it rain from beyond the arc while hosting block parties galore, and he's maintaining career-high per-game averages in made threes and blocks while connecting on career-high shooting percentages from downtown and the charity stripe.
Lopez had 11 points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds, one steal, and one block in 33 minutes during Sunday's 121-114 loss to San Antonio.
Lopez hauled in 10 rebounds Sunday, giving the big-man a rare double-double. Not known for his ability to crash the boards, he was certainly in the right place at the right time during this game. The one blocked shot is a little disappointing although it was certainly not the best matchup for Lopez. The Bucks will try and get back in the winners' circle Tuesday when they travel to New Orleans to face the Pelicans.
Lopez finished with 25 points (7-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 10-10 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 30 minutes during Saturday's 131-114 victory over the Hornets.
Lopez was efficient Saturday night, ending the game with 25 points on 7-of-11 shooting. It was a strange outing for Lopez who only hit one three-pointer and failed to record a blocked shot. This was the second time in his last three games that he hasn't blocked a shot which is peculiar given his block rate this season. The Bucks will back up Sunday when they travel to San Antonio to face the Spurs.
Lopez tallied 16 points (6-8 FG, 4-4 3Pt), eight rebounds, seven blocks, and one steal in 30 minutes during Saturday's 115-111 loss to Utah.
After blocking just one shot against the Lakers on Friday, Lopez bounced back Saturday, swatting a season-high seven shots. Lopez also hit all four of his three-point attempts, rounding out what was an excellent performance. He is the 13th ranked player over the past two weeks and the 34th ranked player for the season. He is certainly in the discussion as one of the most underrated additions of the off-season and should continue to put up big numbers moving forward as the Bucks push for the number one seed in the East.
