Knight (knee) will not play Monday against the Knicks.
Knight continues to deal with sore left knee, and Monday will mark his third consecutive absence.
Knight (knee) is out for Saturday's matchup against the Bulls.
Knight will miss a second straight game due to knee soreness. In his absence, Dante Exum could see extra run.
Knight was ruled out for Friday's game at Memphis with left knee soreness.
Knight played a season-high 26 minutes Tuesday against the Clippers but had zero points, one rebound and one assist while picking up the knee issue. The 28-year-old was averaging 21.2 minutes over the last six games, leaving Dante Exum and Matthew Dellavedova to handle more backcourt run off the bench for the Cavs.
Knight scored 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 0-0 FT), two boards, five assists, and one block in 24 minutes of a 115-113 loss to the Pistons on Tuesday.
Knight logged season highs in points, assists and minutes in the contest, as he saw an expanded role for the second straight game and wound up being the Cavaliers best option off the bench. Knight's re-emergence comes as injuries held out Dante Exum (illness) and Kevin Porter Jr. (knee). Porter Jr.'s injury could extend for a few weeks, which would open the door to a more regular role for Knight.
Knight compiled five points (2-8 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 23 minutes during Sunday's 118-103 loss to Minnesota.
Knight played a season-high minutes total in the loss and could remain in the rotation after Kevin Porter Jr. (knee) suffered an injury. If Porter is forced to miss time, Knight stands to be one of the primary beneficiaries. With that being said, the Cavaliers are likely to lean more on their young options, so Knight's role could be heavily reliant on the performances of others on a game-by-game basis. Knight isn't a player to consider outside of the deepest of fantasy leagues.
