Video Details

Brandon Jones gets loose off a turn and slams against the wall, tearing off his rear bumper.

ANNOUNCER 1: Difference in the way it'll handle?

ANNOUNCER 2: Oh, absolutely. Oh, that's-- oops.

ANNOUNCER: One in the wall. That's Brandon Jones. Won stage two, lost the track position after pitting.

ANNOUNCER: Talk about KO, that's just par for the course, when you're staged and the next thing you know, you're wrecked, unfortunate.

ANNOUNCER: That looks like the day is done for Brandon Jones.

ANNOUNCER: A lot of damage there.

ANNOUNCER: What's so funny, I was watching Tifft and Reddick, they were right there almost to a hit, and then in the background you saw him go around.

ANNOUNCER: Kaz Grala with some big damage. It looks like Joe just gets loose.

ANNOUNCER: Just chasing it. Really, really loose.

ANNOUNCER: It's amazing, that wall. Did you see that thing move? Every time I see a wreck anymore as a race car driver, sure appreciate who ever built and designed that thing.

ANNOUNCER: It makes me want to hug them, and I know how hard that concrete is and that technology. Look at the job Sig does he just--

ANNOUNCER: Yeah he did.

ANNOUNCER: He said, I got to lock her down and go the other way, and what a great move.

ANNOUNCER: No one is really out of danger because everything is so tight and we saw it there, and there's Labbe. Certainly a lot of damage and the rookie out of Canada gonna probably have to head to the garage.

ANNOUNCER: Yeah, it looked like a ball joint was broke on the right front.

(PIT NOISES)

ANNOUNCER: Limited on what you can do, based on what the NASCAR rule back-- rule book says here, Larry.

LARRY MCREYNOLDS: You saw them just rip that rear bumper off. Per the rule, at a mile and a half racetrack, you cannot race without that rear bumper cover, and you can't put a replacement on there. They're going to have to put that original piece back on there. You're going to see them back on pit road.

ANNOUNCER: Well, they've got bigger issues than that, Larry. That right front suspension is-- is whacked out, so they're-- they're done.
