Kyle Busch's winning No. 18 XFINITY car fails post-race inspection
Kyle Busch’s race-winning No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota failed post-race inspection following Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series Rinnai 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Busch’s car incurred a height violation, as officials found it to be too low on the left and right front.
Busch commented on the violation while in the Atlanta media center following Christopher Bell’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory in the final race of Saturday’s NASCAR doubleheader.
"I don't remember what kind of adjustments we were making; I know we were going track bar down and wedge out so that should actually kind of lifted the front a little bit maybe, but I don't know how low it was or anything like that," Busch said.
Busch is slated for 10 races in the XFINITY Series this season, including next Saturday’s event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
NASCAR should hand down penalties for the violation later this week.
