Complete results from Friday’s first Sprint Cup practice at Kansas Speedway
Kurt Busch led the first of Friday’s two rounds of Sprint Cup Series practice at Kansas Speedway in advance of Saturday night’s Go Bowling 400 (FS1, 7 p.m. ET).
Busch, driver of the No. 41 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet, ran a fastest lap of 185.893 miles per hour around the 1.5-mile oval.
Furniture Row Racing driver Martin Truex Jr. was second fastest with a lap of 185.478 mph, followed by Carl Edwards, Austin Dillon and 2011 Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne.
The final round of practice is at 1:30 p.m. ET on FS1, with qualifying to follow at 6:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
