Who will get the handle on the all-important 1.5-mile Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series tracks the quickest this season?

And more importantly, who is likely to have the best handle on the 1.5-milers by the time the NASCAR playoffs roll around in the fall?

We begin finding out those answers this weekend in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the first of the 1.5-mile venues the series will visit.

Sunday pre-race coverage will begin at  1 p.m. ET live on FOX, with the green flag scheduled to fall at approximately 2:30 p.m. ET.

But the first clues as to which drivers may have the best handle on the first 1.5-mile track on the 2017 schedule likely will come today, with the first Cup practice set for noon ET, followed by qualifying at 5:45 p.m. ET. Both will be televised live on FS1.

For some early educated guesses on the aforementioned pressing questions, we turn to the experts on "NASCAR Race Hub" who debated the subject in great detail. Check out the video above.
