Hulkenberg out at Williams, Barrichello staying

Nico Hulkenberg is leaving Williams at the end of his Formula

One debut season, but the team has agreed on a new deal with Rubens

Barrichello.

The 23-year-old Hulkenberg finished 14th in the drivers’

championship, and the highlight of the German’s season was taking

the pole at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Team chief Frank Williams says ”we have for many years tried to

bring new talent into the sport, and we are convinced that Nico

will go on to great things.”

Barrichello has agreed to drive another year for Williams after

finishing 10th in the championship.

Williams says the 38-year-old Brazilian ”has delivered

everything we could have hoped for this season.”

The second driver will be announced before the end of the

year.
