Fans weigh in: NASCAR made right call by 'letting the boys have at it'

We asked fans whether or not NASCAR made the right call by choosing not to issue penalties after the scuffle between Kyle Busch and Joey Logano at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

It was close, but 44 percent of those who voted agreed that it was the right move, while 40 percent thought that Kyle Busch should have been fined and/or penalized for his involvement.

Busch and Logano met face-to-face with NASCAR officials in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series hauler prior to Friday's first practice session at Phoenix Raceway.

Busch didn't have much to say after the meeting, repeating the same thing after a slew of questions thrown at him.

“Everything’s great," Busch said. "Looking forward to getting back to the race track and into my race car."

Logano had a little more to say.

“I really just tried to explain I made a mistake underneath him (Busch),” said Logano. “That’s basically what it was."
