Claims Grant Park 165 Pole Van Gisbergen won the pole for the Grant Park 165 NASCAR Cup Series race at the Chicago Street Course on Saturday. He'd turn a fast lap of 88.338 mph.

Impact The Trackhouse Racing driver would not be one of the faster drivers in practice at Chicago but he'd show up strong in pole qualifying. Van Gisbergen would beat out Michael McDowell to claim his second pole of the season and third of his Cup Series career. The driver of the No. 88 Chevrolet will be a top contender to win Sunday's Grant Park 165.
