Jeff Gordon floored by tattoo of Superfan who seeks autograph

Jeff Gordon, the four-time NASCAR Premier Series champion who now works as an analyst on NASCAR broadcasts for FOX Sports, has seen his share of tributes in the form of body art over the years.

Fans just love to pay homage to Gordon and the No. 24 car he drove throughout his 23-year career in NASCAR’s top series for Hendrick Motorsports.

And Gordon always tries to accommodate autograph seekers whenever and however he can, within reason of course.

So Gordon has seen a whole lot over the years. But when he ran into Superfan Mandi Palazzo at Pocono Raceway this weekend, even he was floored by the No. 24 tattoo that ran pretty much the length of Palazzo’s arm.

Then he obliged with an autograph — on Palazzo’s wrist, which pretty much was the only place left on her arm where he could find the room to do so.

Palazzo, meanwhile, made it clear that she intended to have the autograph turned into yet another tattoo — and that she just crossed a big item off her bucket list.
