Go, Pack, Go: Green Bay WR Jordy Nelson to drive pace car at Kansas Speedway
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson will lead the field to green at Kansas Speedway next month.
Nelson – a Kansas native and former standout at Kansas State University – will drive the pace car to start the Kansas 400.
"Getting the chance to drive alongside some of the greatest racers in the world is truly a dream come true," said Nelson. "I couldn’t think of a better place to do it than at my home-state track, Kansas Speedway."
Football players seem to be a popular pace car choice this season.
Last month at Texas Motor Speedway, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten had the honors.
You can catch the Kansas 400 on Saturday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
