Wins Dover Pole Buescher won the pole for the DuraMAX Drydene 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover Motor Speedway Saturday afternoon. He turned a fast lap of 160.149 mph. Impact Knockout qualifying would feature an interesting mix of veteran drivers that would advance to the final round. Buescher would best Denny Hamlin to capture the pole position at the Monster Mile. It was his first-career Cup Series pole. The Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing driver looks like a Top-5 threat for Sunday's DuraMAX Drydene 400.
