ASIMO (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility) - a humanoid robot created by Honda - is the Grand Marshal for this weekend’s Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham.

ASIMO has been hanging out trackside all weekend long, meeting fans and participating in over activities. On Sunday, it gave the command to fire engines.

The Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama will be 90 laps long with Will Power leading the field away from pole.
