From Monday, April 7 to Friday, April 11 a poll was posted on the Motors page on the FOX Sports website asking fans whether they thought Mercedes will continue to dominate Formula 1 during the 2014, or if they thought the other teams would catch up.

Over half of the votes casted (53 percent) voted that they thought other teams would catch up and win some races, but Mercedes would continue to dominate the season.

Per the poll, 39 percent of fans believed that Mercedes would continue to dominate the season, questioning whether the other teams would even catch up.

Only eight percent of the votes cast believed that a different team would rise up and knock Mercedes off of the top step, that they have held by winning every qualifying session and race so far this season, pulling off two back-to-back 1-2 finishes at Malaysia and Bahrain.

Round 4 of the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship will take place in Shanghai on April 20, where we will see if Mercedes are able to continue their dominance.
