DETROIT (AP) Simon Pagenaud has won his second straight pole at Belle Isle and will start at the front of Sunday's IndyCar race.
It's the second of two IndyCar races this weekend in Detroit. Pagenaud also topped qualifying for Saturday's race, although he ended up finishing 13th.
Pagenaud's qualifying time of 1 minute, 14.0379 seconds Sunday set a track record. Will Power completed a lap in 1:13.8835, but he was penalized for qualifying interference and had his top two laps taken away. Power will start eighth.

Ryan Hunter-Reay will start second. Sebastien Bourdais, the winner of Saturday's race, will start 12th.
It's Pagenaud's fourth pole of the season and sixth of his career.
Indianapolis 500 winner Alexander Rossi was penalized for not slowing down enough for a yellow flag. He'll start 18th.
