Formula One cars were back on the streets of Adelaide in Australia this weekend ahead of the Adelaide Motorsport Festival.

On Saturday, various historic racing cars will take to the Victoria Park to put on a show for the fans who enjoy seeing racing cars from days gone by.

Among them will be former F1 drivers Stefan Johansson, Ivan Capelli and Pierluigi Martini, behind the wheel of the Ferrari F156/85, the Leyton House CG891 and the Minardi M189 respectively.

Several of the cars took to the streets of Adelaide in a procession on Friday to build up publicity for the event, including the No. 28 Ferrari F156/85 driven by Stefan Johansson, who scored two second-place finishes behind the wheel of the Prancing Horse in 1985.

The Adelaide Street Circuit played host to the Formula One Australian Grand Prix from 1985 to 1995, and is still in use by various other motor racing divisions including the V8 Supercars.
