The 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series season may have came to a close in August, but many of the series’ biggest stars were quick to get back behind the wheel at the 2015 Dan Wheldon Memorial ProAm Karting Race Honoring Justin Wilson last weekend.
The race, in which many IndyCar drivers come together to race karts and benefit various charities, has become an annual tradition since the passing of Dan Wheldon in 2011.
This year, proceeds went to Dan Wheldon Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association and Wilson Children’s Fund.

The 2015 running of the event took place on Saturday at New Castle Motorsports Park in Indiana and was won by none other than the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series Champion Scott Dixon.
