Corey Seager on Kershaw in Game 1: ‘He was unhittable tonight’

Video Details

Corey Seager talks to Tom Verducci about Clayton Kershaw's big Game 1 of the World Series.

- Corey Seager, it's been 15 days since you were out there on the baseball field playing. It looked good. How did it feel?

- You know, it felt good. Had no problems with the back at all. Nice get out there, nice to get the first win, get the momentum in our favor.

- Clayton Kershaw waited 10 years to get to the World Series. He delivered an absolute gem. From your point of view, what did you see out of him tonight?

- Kershaw's the best, no way around it. Doesn't matter what time of the year, Kershaw's the best. I think he proved that tonight. He was unbelievable. He was unhittable tonight.

- And finally Justin Turner, I don't know if you guys are getting used to it, but he seems to do this a lot with the big hits in the game. How about the home run tonight?

- Huge. He's been doing it all year for us. Comes up with the big spots, delivers. We need it out of him, we got it out of him tonight, and got the win because of it.
