David Ortiz checks in with a happy update on retirement

David Ortiz was at Game 2 of the World Series in Cleveland because he was honored as the AL's winner of the Hank Aaron Award, which goes to the top hitter in each league (Kris Bryant won it for the NL).

Big Papi hit .315 with 38 home runs for the Boston Red Sox this year before calling it a career.

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal caught up with Ortiz to ask him how retired life is going, what he'll remember most from the season and if he's going to get an itch to play again when spring training rolls around (watch the video above).

"I don't know, that's a good question," Ortiz said. "We have a couple of months before we get there. I think I'll be fine. You know, I've played a lot of baseball. I love this game. I'm kind of getting used to watching it."
