The Yankees Got Involved In Some Super Bowl 51 Action
Following the Patriots’ epic comeback victory over the Falcons in Super Bowl 51, one thing became über apparent — it’s Yankees time!
If you are one of the millions of people (Yankees fans included) who turned off their TV last night when Tom Brady and company were down 25 points in the third quarter, well, then I feel bad for you, son. Captain America would not only send the game into the first overtime period in Super Bowl history but would arguably cap off the greatest comeback in NFL history, by willing his team to victory 34-28, much to the chagrin of Dirty Bird supporters everywhere.
As a New York football fan, I too thought the Falcons had the game in the bag — up until Julian Edelman did his best David Tyree impersonation. So as much as it pains me to admit, Brady has to go down as the greatest quarterback ever. Yeah, yeah, he’s the G.O.A.T — has Spring Training started yet?
Before the much-hyped contest, a few members of the Yankees got in on fun, offering their predictions for who they thought would come away victorious. According to the Yankees’ Twitter account, here’s who got it right, and who got it wrong.
Luis Cessa: Patriots 34 – Falcons 31
Greg Bird: Patriots 35 – Falcons 31
Chasen Shreve: Patriots 34 – Falcons 17
Aroldis Chapman: Patriots 34 – Falcons 31
Luis Severino: Patriots 30 – Falcons 25
Gleyber Torres: Patriots 45 – Falcons 36
Jonathan Holder: Patriots 31 – Falcons 27
Rob Refsnyder: Patriots 34 – Falcons 31
Aaron Judge: Patriots 27 – Falcons 24
Ronald Torreyes: Falcons 24 – Patriots 21
Tyler Austin: Falcons 38 – Patriots 21
Aaron Hicks: Falcons (no score given)

Looks like the nine members of the club that took the Pats were sweating it out up until that final drive in the 4th quarter. I mean, easy money had to be on New England since Las Vegas was only giving Atlanta three points. Regardless, it was a Super Bowl no one will soon forget.
