The Cleveland Indians fought until the last out of the World Series. Their manager Terry Francona was proud of his team's effort in the seven-game loss to the Chicago Cubs.

Francona, who was on the opposite side of a historic baseball comeback when he managed the Red Sox to victory over the Yankees in the 2004 ALCS, told his players to hold their heads high.

He also praised the relentless effort of the Cubs.
