GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) Alfredo Simon pitched two-hit ball over 4 2/3 innings and Scott Schebler hit a three-run double, leading the Cincinnati Reds over the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-6 Sunday.

Simon, who was with Cincinnati from 2012 through 2014, gave up one run in his second start since resigning with the Reds on March 17.

Chase Utley hit his first spring homer, a two-run shot for the Dodgers.

Schebler, who moved from the Dodgers to the Reds in a three-team deal on Dec. 16, highlighted a five-run sixth with his drive off Luis Avilan.

Avilan had relieved starter Kenta Maeda, who scattered four hits and struck out five over 5 1/3 innings in his fifth spring start.
