Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale can’t seem to resist these crazy bets.

The Houston furniture retailer who lost over $7 million rooting for the Denver Broncos in February’s Super Bowl is now taking another big promotional swing, this time at the national pastime.

Any Gallery Furniture customers who buy $6300 worth of home goods and have it delivered in a week could have that money refunded if their Houston Astros lose less than 100 games this season.

That means Houston would have to win just 63 games from now until September. Which appears to be a low bar to hurdle, except for the fact that the MLB team has logged more than 100 losses in each of the past three years.

The Gallery Furniture founder doesn’t have the greatest history betting against the underdog either. And wouldn’t you know it, the Astros are 2-0 as of Thursday morning.
