Rained out Indians-Twins game now set for July 18

The Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Twins will play a day-night

doubleheader on July 18 to make up their rained out game from last

month.

The Twins made the announcement Tuesday.

The Indians-Twins game on April 22 was the first of two

postponements at Target Field this season. The two teams will play

a day-night doubleheader on Monday, July 18, with the makeup game

at 12:10 p.m. local time and the originally scheduled game at 7:10

p.m.

The rescheduling gives the Twins 12 straight home games in an

11-day span following the All-Star break, all against AL Central

opponents.

The Twins have had three postponed games since the ballpark

opened last year, and one suspended game last season that was

finished the following day.
