Price earns 100th career win, Bautista HR, Blue Jays top O’s

TORONTO (AP) David Price earned his 100th career victory, Jose Bautista hit his 32nd home run of the season and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Baltimore Orioles 5-1 on Saturday.

The AL East-leading Blue Jays bounced back from a 10-2 loss to Baltimore on Friday night. Toronto hasn’t dropped two in a row since Aug. 14-15 against the Yankees.

Price (14-5) allowed one run and three hits in seven innings. He’s 5-1 with a 2.15 ERA since joining Toronto in a July 30 trade with Detroit, and 100-56 overall in eight seasons.

Bautista hit a solo home run off Mike Wright (2-4) in the first and made it 2-0 with an RBI double in the third.
